Hecho Relevante – Cambio en la Mesa Directiva<\/h2>\n

BTG PACTUAL PARTICIPATIONS, LTD.<\/strong>\u00a0(\u00abBTGP\u00bb), in accordance with CVM Instruction 358\/02, and further to the Material Fact issued by BTGP and Banco BTG Pactual S.A. on February 14, 2017 (\u00abMaterial Fact of the New Units Structure\u00bb), hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general, as follows:<\/p>\n

The Board of Directors of BTGP, whose members remain unchanged, at a meeting held on this date: (i) accepted the resignation of the then members of the Board of Officers of BTGP; and, subsequently, (ii) approved the appointment of the new members of the Board of Officers of BTGP, which will be comprised as follows: (i) Jos\u00e9 Octavio Mendes Vita, as the Chief Executive Officer of BTGP; and (ii) Renata Gomes Santiago Broenn, as the Investor Relations Officer of BTGP.<\/p>\n

Jos\u00e9 Vita is a MD Partner of BTG Pactual and a member of the Brazil Management Committee. He is based in our S\u00e3o Paulo office. He is the former co-head of Investment Banking of BTG Pactual. Mr. Vita joined Pactual in 1989 and became partner in 1993. Prior to joining Pactual, he worked in Corporate Finance at Bankers Trust Company of Brazil and at Morgan Guaranty Trust Company of New York. Mr. Vita graduated in Business Administration from Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Get\u00falio Vargas and obtained an MBA from Wharton Business School.<\/p>\n

Renata Gomes Santiago Broenn is an BTG Pactual Associate Partner since 2009, based in Rio de Janeiro\u2019s office, currently the Senior Management\u2019s Business Manager. Renata acted as a lawyer at Banco Icatu S.A. from 1994 to 2000, mainly focused in Asset Management business when then she joined Pactual group to lead the legal department to support the Asset Management area at Pactual, being part of several activities, including structuring financials products, such as private equity funds, investments fund in emerging companies and investment funds in general. In 2007, she was nominated Head of Human Resources Brazil of UBS Pactual. In 2009, she moved to the role of Global Head of Human Resources of BTG Pactual. In 2009, she was nominated as the Global Head of Human Resources for BTG Pactual. Renata graduated in Law at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro in 1996, and in 2001, concluded an MBA in Business Law at IBMEC Business School – Rio de Janeiro.<\/p>\n

The modification implemented on the Board of Officers of BTGP is an important step concerning the segregation of Units by BTGP, as disclosed in the Material Fact of the New Units Structure, dated February 14, 2017.<\/p>\n

BTGP hereby also informs that its financial statements concerning the quarter ended on March 31, 2017 will be disclosed on May 12, 2017.<\/p>\n
