Sale of Interest at STR Projetos e Participações em Recursos Naturais

Rio de Janeiro, July 5, 2012 – BTG Pactual Participations Ltd. (“BTG Pactual”) in compliance with CVM Rule 358 of January 3, 2002, as amended, hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that sold its interest, indirectly held through Stigma Participações S.A., in STR Projetos e Participações em Recursos Naturais, natural resources holding company focused in oil and gas. The interest mentioned was wholly sold in an open auction at BM&FBOVESPA, on July 4, 2012, for R$ 699.7 million.
